Breaking into Cybersecurity with Critical Insight & PISCES 9/3/21
PISCES is the Public Infrastructure Security Cyber Education System. As a 501(c3) non-profit, PISCES performs no-cost cybersecurity metadata monitoring for small local governments in return for using data collected as real-time curriculum for (currently) 5 universities. As part of their university education, students are exposed to “live fire” from critical infrastructure providers. PISCES focuses on 3 pillars: infrastructure protection, workforce development, and research. The podcast will feature Mike Hamilton, PISCES founder, and Champagne Ryder, a PISCES student that is now employed as a cybersecurity analyst.
